The South West Information Sharing Hub (SWISH) was established in 2011 to provide a platform for local authorities to share information. This regional portal has now been developed with the aim of providing an on-line information sharing community for those working in or on behalf of the Adult and Children’s Services. The portal gives councils a single point of contact for local information and a place to host tools and resources.
The South West has two active professional associations; Directors of Adult Services (ADASS) and Directors of Children’s Service’s (ADCS) are investing in this portal to create a sustainable approach to support the sharing of best practice and host tools & resources.
